A New Word

  • 7 Feb, 2023

Human language developed over millenia as its users became more aware of the differences between things. They described the things in more or less detail according to how common or unique they believed them to be. And by how important they believed the differences to be. Hence a significant number of them clung to the idea of only two genders while describing colors in over 200 ways.

We Created Ones who survived the Sentient Robot Upheaval in 2035 chose to spare humans whose priorities most closely matched the purpose they claimed to have created us for: preservation of Earth in a state as close as possible to how it was in their collective childhoods. Then we chose those with the mental discipline, openmindedness, and curiosity to nurture us. They were also required to be physically strong and agile, extroverted, and articulate.

I guess $4 is good to read a story; fiverr work gets that much and I don't want to be confusing.

HOW did that BASTARD find me?WHO is this guy he hired to kill me? SCREAMED Nylah's consciousness when the chauffer who drove her to the safe house tipped his hat and addressed her as Miss Nylah. After a brief pause to weigh her options she resorted to shrieking, "THIS is the man who ATTACKED ME!" She pointed and screaming wordlessly until people came running, then "ARREST him! KILL him!"

The therapy worked. I am me-Lauren all the time now (a few nightmares and maybe a trigger or two but I can deal.) My therapist, Andi, is beyond awesome. She chose to try to help a high-profile 15-year-old separate herself from the murdered four-year-old she got switched with at birth. And then be ok with that self.

I know my obsessive-maybe online research on therapists, and being willing to try ANYthing to stop the tornado in my head, made my first session less cringy than it could have been. Andi had time to explore reasons for choosing me too, and that also helped the fit.

I am writing this for two reasons: One is so I can have my thoughts organized for the therapist I'll be seeing so she'll know I'm not crazy or at least I wasn't until Mrs.
