My "A Lucky One" blogposts all seem to draw the same questions and criticism. Maybe I am wrong to ignore it....
I didn't start, and struggle to maintain, a blog to give gory details of a four-year-old switched at birth from loving parents to monsters, then killed or let die and thrown in a firepit at four. Nor did I start it to make money or become famous. Being the kid Becca got switched with, I became famous enough. I gave a few details about that horror bc I want you reading this to know I fucked up you and your life CAN be and still be fixed, not that it HAS to be that bad. If it hurts, Get Help!!!
I am told I haven't provided "enough detail" in the story. Well....the media provided plenty of detail (real or imagined) to what happened to Becca, and to the reactions of the people in my town---including a few of my many cousins. They didn't get much from my accidental parents because they wanted to look straight in my eyes every time I asked one of the questions being shouted at them every time they got too close to a window or God forbid opened a door.
